Airline Call Centre Phone Numbers for Japan and Asia (November 2026)
Airline reservation centre numbers for Japan and other places in Asia. Every number comes from the airline's official site, with a link to the source page.

In my last post, I showed that searching for an airline's phone number puts fake numbers on page one. I also frequently need to contact these airlines myself when I travel so to save me the time to ask Google or any of the AI agents, this time I made a list of the real ones on a page which I know I can trust.
Every number in this list comes from the airline's official site. Each one links to the page it came from. Before you call, open the link and check that the number has not changed. I checked the numbers on 4 November 2026.
The list covers nine countries and regions: Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
How to Read This List
- Toll-free numbers are left out. Numbers starting with 0120, 1800, 00801 and so on only work from inside their own country. ANA's country pages say outright that they cannot be used from abroad. PuchiDen usually cannot reach them either (FAQ on toll-free numbers). For the same reason, I also left out Japan's 0570 (navi-dial) numbers and Korea's 1588 numbers.
- Numbers starting with "+" are the format for calling from abroad. Where the official page only gives the local format (for example 03-1234-5678), I rewrote it with the country code. You can see the original format on the source page.
- Opening hours are local time unless stated. Some official pages do not give a time zone.
- Calling a Tokyo number from abroad can change the payment currency or what the agent can handle. ANA charges in Japanese yen, and JAL's backup number cannot take payment in yen. Each airline's section has the details.
JAL (Japan Airlines)
The Japan numbers for international reservations are on JAL's international enquiries page.

About the backup number +81-3-4330-0671, JAL's country pages say this. Use it when the local Japanese-language number does not connect, and international call charges apply. Payment cannot be made in Japanese yen. JAL also cannot handle bookings, changes or refunds that cover only flights within Japan, although I am sure they can help you to contact the correct number if you need to.

In Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan and Hong Kong, the local Japanese-language line is toll-free only, so the table gives the Tokyo backup number instead. In South Korea, one number covers Japanese, English and Korean. JAL's country pages carry two notices. First, from 28 October 2026, mileage enquiries (other than award tickets and upgrades) are handled by email only. Second, the Mandarin-language service ends on 24 November 2026 (the Korea and Hong Kong pages do not mention this).
ANA (All Nippon Airways)
The Japan numbers for international reservations are on ANA's international enquiries page (in Japanese).

On each Asian country page, ANA lists the number of its "Japan or US reservations and information centre". It works in Japanese and English, 24 hours a day. The local number is toll-free, so the table gives the paid Tokyo number listed on the same page instead. The Tokyo number is charged as an international call to Japan. Booking by phone adds a ticketing fee.

Only in the Philippines does the reservations centre have a paid local number, and it is the same as the branch's. ANA's page says the line may go silent for about 10 seconds after you choose a language.
If you are calling from a country not listed here, ANA's page for other countries gives +81-3-6741-6683 (Japanese and English, 24 hours). Payment is in Japanese yen, and Japanese sales rules apply.
Singapore Airlines
The numbers are on Singapore Airlines' country contact pages. Only the Japan numbers have Japanese-speaking staff.

If you are in Japan and happy to speak English, the Singapore number also works well. It is only one hour behind Japan, and English is available 24 hours. I wrote about this in the chatbot post.
China Airlines
The customer service numbers are on China Airlines' contact page. For countries other than Japan and Taiwan, the numbers come from the branch office page.

The official page does not say which languages the Japan number speaks. The branch offices outside Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong only answer on weekdays during office hours.
Korean Air
The numbers are on Korean Air's service centre page. Korean Air has a Japanese-language line in every country on this list. The Japanese line is open daily from 9:00 to 19:00 (Japan time). Korean and English are available 24 hours a day.

Asiana Airlines
Asiana is merging into Korean Air. According to Asiana's page on the merger, where you call changes like this.
- Until 16 December 2026 (Korea time). Contact the Asiana service centre or the travel agent you booked with.
- From 17 December 2026 (Korea time). Contact the Korean Air service centre or the travel agent you booked with. Asiana flights departing on or after 17 December 2026 change to Korean Air flight numbers.

For the other seven countries and regions, Asiana's page lists no reservations centre, only city sales offices. From 17 December, Korean Air handles everything, so use the Korean Air numbers above.
AirAsia
AirAsia has no phone line. AirAsia's official statement of 16 March 2026 says plainly that it does not run customer service by phone. All official support goes through AskBo, its chat service.
The same statement warns about fake phone numbers that claim to be AirAsia's official line. So any number presented as "AirAsia's phone number" is not an official one.
EVA Air
The numbers are on EVA Air's city contact pages. Every number below is the reservations and ticketing hotline.

Every page says "Chinese and English 24 hours daily". Outside the hours above, EVA's Global Call Center answers in Chinese and English. None of the pages, not even Tokyo's, says whether the phone line speaks Japanese. The only thing the Tokyo page marks as Japanese is live chat (Mon to Fri, 9:00 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:30).
Korean numbers starting with "1533" are Korean nationwide numbers. They sometimes cannot be reached from abroad. It is the only number EVA lists for Seoul, so I kept it.
United Airlines
The numbers are on United's international reservation numbers page. Choose "East Asia" as the region to see them. United is in Star Alliance, the same alliance as ANA. According to the page, the reservations lines can also book flights on Star Alliance partner airlines.

I left out the Philippines because United only lists toll-free numbers there. The page does not say which languages any of these lines speak.
Air India
The numbers are on Air India's contact page.

The page says international call charges apply to the customer care numbers. For the eight countries and regions other than Singapore, Air India's office page lists only addresses, with no phone numbers. The page does not say which languages the lines speak either.

Calls nobody answers are free. But once a voice menu picks up, the call is connected, and time on hold is charged.
Before You Call
- Open the source link and check the number has not changed. This list is as of 4 November 2026.
- Have your booking reference and your name as it appears in your passport ready. The rest of what to prepare is in the chatbot post.
- If the voice menu cannot understand you, press the numbers on the keypad. In PuchiDen, you can send touch tones from the on-screen keypad during a call.
